Get It Straight!

YOU BE THE FRIEND Jessica wanted to be Lois' friend. One day on her way home from school, Jessica saw Lois and caught up with her. "Want to stop and have a soda?" Jessica asked. When they stopped for their soda, Lois pulled out some white pills and offered one to Jessica. "These will make you really happy and cool. I use them all the time. I can even do my homework better with them. Do you want some?" Jessica wanted Lois to like her, so she took the pill with her soda. Jessica felt happy right away, but began to shake all over. She didn't like that feeling at all. She didn't sleep that night either.

The next day, Lois sat next to Jessica at lunch. "Do you want another pill?" she asked. Lois seemed to like Jessica now, and Jessica had a hard time deciding whether or not to take another pill. Can you help Jessica make her decision?
